CAREER ASSISTANCE
The JBS Discretionary Fund provides funding for programs and initiatives to benefit jockeys’ welfare both during their riding career and in retirement, including vocational and life skills training, career transition support, business start-up assistance and financial planning advice.

Their role encompasses much more than what the public sees, including regular career mentoring, strategic planning, business guidance and maintaining their fitness as professional athletes. With proper support services, career development and mentorship, these are all essential components that help ensure successful and fulfilling careers”
